HotCPU is a lightweight desktop application designed to monitor your computer's hardware temperatures. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information (if any) we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

HotCPU runs entirely on your local computer. All temperature readings, sensor data, and application settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external servers.

Hardware Information Access

HotCPU accesses the following hardware information to provide temperature monitoring:

• CPU temperature sensors
• GPU temperature sensors
• Motherboard/chipset sensors
• Storage device temperatures
• System thermal zones

This information is read in real-time, displayed to you, and optionally logged locally. None of this data leaves your computer.

Data Storage

Your application settings (such as temperature thresholds, language preferences, and selected sensors) are stored in a local configuration file on your computer. Temperature logs, if enabled, are stored in your user profile directory.

You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time.

Third-Party Services

HotCPU does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The application does not make any network connections.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to share.
